The Perfect Town for Facebook, Apple You Don't Know



May 22 (Bloomberg) -- Facebook users now upload around a billion photos to the world's largest social network on a busy day and that vast amount of digital information must ultimately be stored somewhere physical. Bloomberg's Willem Marx recently visited Prineville, Oregon, a small and old-fashioned town that is very happy to host Silicon Valley's large and high-tech back offices.
