Một nhóm tin tặc tự nhận là "người vô danh" vừa lọt vào hàng rào an ninh mạng của một số cơ quan Hoa Kỳ như Bộ Quốc phòng, cơ quan không gian NASA, họ gọi đây là một hình thức phản đối... Tuy nhiên theo như tường trình của Thông tín viên Paris Huang của Đài VOA thì cuộc chiến trên mạng được xem như là một đe dọa thực sự đối với an ninh quốc gia Hoa Kỳ và những công ty của Hoa Kỳ... nhất là khi các vụ này xuất phát từ Trung Quốc.
