The Welsh town of Monmouth has joined forces with Wikipedia to boost its tourism marketing; the town is covered in plaques with QR codes. QR stands for"quick response". Tourists can now scan the QR codes onto their smartphones and immediately access special Wikipedia entries on the location in question.

'VN cố đạt thành tích cao hơn trước'

Trưởng đoàn Olympic Việt Nam, ông Lâm Quang Thành hy vọng cho thành tích mà ông gọi là cao hơn trước.

Trả lời phỏng vấn của BBC tiếng Việt tại sân bay Gatwick London, ông Thành cho biết: 'nếu ở trạng thái sung sức nhất, hoặc chuẩn bị chuyên môn tốt nhất, thì tôi nghĩ là nhiều vận động viên sẽ có thành tích cao hơn trước đây và tiếp cận thành tích thế giới".

"Và nếu tiếp cận được, thì chúng tôi hy vọng kỳ Olympics này có thể đạt được thành tích cao. Chưa có huy chương nhưng lần sau sẽ là lần VN có thể khẳng định một số môn mạnh trên thế giới."

Sáng ngày 20/07/12 đoàn Olympic thứ hai của Việt Nam đã tới London gồm có bác sĩ, huấn luyện viên, vận động viên Judo, vận động viên đua thuyền, báo chí và chuyên gia.
