NASA's mobile robot Curiosity has successfully completed it's first test drive on Mars.
On Wednesday Curiosity took a 16-minute drive, travelling 15 feet forward before turning 120 degrees and backing up a further 8 feet.
Most of the drive time was spent taking pictures, including the first images of the mobile robot's tread marks in the Martian soil.
Scientists displayed a photo of the event and animation in a press conference in Pasadena, California.
