Hela to boost PNG's economic future
Papua New Guinea is into its third day of voting in the two-week long election. For the first time, voters in the new province of Hela will elect their own members. Hela used to be part of the Southern Highlands, but for more than three decades, residents have pushed to form their own province. Hela is now at the centre of Papua New Guinea's economic future.. home to a project that's expected to double the country's gross domestic product when it starts production - and SBS correspondent Kathy Novak is there.
