Costa Concordia Disaster Tourism

The site of the Costa Concordia disaster, where the cruise ship ran aground and 32 people died, has become a grim tourist destination.

Those travelling to the Isola del Giglio now have the added option of passing by the wreckage of the cruise liner, still lying on its side over seven months after it hit a reef by the Tuscan coast. A boat trip only costs 10 euro per ticket.
