Graphene - a 21st Century wonder discovery (2:51)



Jan. 22 - Researchers at Britain's University of Manchester believe their work on graphene, a material they call 'the wonder material of the 21st Century', will change the way we live. Graphene is 200 times stronger than steel but extremely lightweight and can conduct heat and electricity more efficiently than any other comparable material. Ivor Bennett reports.

Robotocists go ape over Charlie (1:54)



Jan. 21 - Robotocists in Bremen, Germany have developed an ape-like robot capable of standing upright thanks to its flexible spine. Called ''Charlie'', the robot is a technological test-bed for machines that may one day help humans both on earth and in space. Rob Muir has more.
