Dutch tulip flowerbed in Gorky Park

Moscow's Gorky Park will become home to a piece of the Netherlands next spring.

Around 75-thousand tulip bulbs were planted there today by Russian and Dutch officials and volunteers.

The tulips were provided by Holland's largest flower park, Keukenhof.

It is world famous for its many different types of tulip.

The multi-coloured flower-bed in Gorky Park will bloom throughout the spring.

And it will mark start of the Year of the Netherlands in Russia.
